The MSR Elixir 2 is a spacious and durable backcountry shelter designed for extra durability, privacy and comfort for two campers or backpackers. It’s the perfect first backpacking tent or versatile adventure basecamp.

This spacious 30 square feet (2.82 square metres) tent offers plenty of room to stretch out in camp. Its true rectangular floor easily accommodates modern wide sleeping pads without any overlap. The tent body combines mesh and solid fabric for a perfect balance of breathability and privacy. The no-curve tent doors feature convenient one-handed zippers and zip closed to a single point, making it easy to find the door even in the dark. Tech-friendly pockets include cable ports at the corners for headphones and charging cords. Large overhead gear loft pockets are ideal for storing headlamps sunglasses and other quick-access items.

The colour-coded pole and clip design simplifies setup. Robust aluminium poles, a PFAS-free water-repellent coating and taped seams ensure the Elixir remains stable and dry. The rainfly boasts spacious vestibules for storing unwanted gear. The easy-to-access vestibule doors feature StayDry™ rain gutters to capture drips while the updated kickstand vents enhance airflow. Premium metal corner hardware is user-friendly and incredibly durable for years of use.
